Just noticed a good deal on a 4GB Corsair XMS2 PC6400 Kit (2x 2GB) recently, and thought heck, why not get two... :-
Can't say I notice any difference compared to having 4GB, but hey ho, it's there now...

Greetings!
The 8GB RAM gets a 5.5 rating and the 8600GTS gets a 5.9? |

The RAM is back at 5.9 again now courtesy of the 3Ghz/1333FSB hike, but it's 5.5 at default settings... |

Sorry, I mean I set the FSB to 1333Mhz so the CPU clocks at 3Ghz because of the 9x multi, the RAM is still at 800Mhz (well, 833Mhz actually with a 2.5 divider). In any case it's still enough to boost the overall memory bandwidth.
