PostPosted: Fri Feb 01, 2008 1:29 pm    Post subject: Asus A8N-SLI BIOS probs.

I can't seem to select the correct boot order.

I have an outgoing install of Vista on my SIL3114 RAID5 array and my new install of winXP on my Adaptec 2100S SCSI RAID5 array.

I can change the boot order of the devices in the BIOS to push the SCSI ahead of the SIL3114, but it always boots from the SATA array.

If I hit F8 and manually select the SCSI array, it boots perfectly every time.

The only way I can think to get it to ignore the SATA RAID5 is to disable it in the BIOS completely, but the SCSI discs are a LOT smaller, so I would like the SATA array to still work for storage!
