I have an Asus A8N SLI Premium
I just recently flashed a custom BIOS to get the latest SIL 3114R Bios which I was able to download from the official SI home pages.
Where can I find the latest NVRaid Bios, Marvel Yukon (If any) or any other BIOS upgrade for this type of board and chips.
I am also looking for a list all of the particular and different Nforce4 configuration combos. My chipset seems to be a CK840.
For the most advanced of you ppl... How can I check a BIOS version of for example the file NVRAID.ROM. I'm asking this because I'm unpacking BIOS flash files for other Nforce4 AMD 939 motherboards like epox or DFI in an effort of finding a recent NVRAID bios or NV Network adapter bios. But the only method that I now can think of for getting the revision number is by flashing it... That's not the way to go of course 
Im starting to have a very bad feeling about Moore's Law. It now takes only half of the time it used to be for a motherboard not to be supported anymore with e.g. BIOS files.

Just flashed the 5.60 into it in a moment and I'll post my bios file
Asus A8N SLI Premium Rev 1.02 based on the ASUS Beta bios 1302

All my efforst are failing. I've succesfully flashed my mobo with a new SIL and NVRAID bios version, but still when I start WINXP SP2 and specify the Raid Driver on the floppy it doesn't detect my harddisks. WinXP IS RUNNING now as we speak and it lived through the flashing, but installing on the same drives wont work, windows will not and cannot see the RAID0. A ghost dos booted does see the RAID0 (It is connected on the SIL) |

| Hey if anyone can help. I'm looking for the latest pci add in roms to include in the official 1303. For the nvraid and sil I will manage, but not for the others (nic's, sound/...) |

| For my A8N-SLI, I noticed that the 1302 BIOS performed better than the 1303 BIOS. |

Plopie I had a similar problem getting RAID 5 to work from floppy on XP.....To get it working i had to delete the RAID 5 in the Sil Bios and then remake it; it then worked first time.....
As for parts of A8N-SLI I'm also looking.... |
