I am also going to try and Mod a nforce 4-4x to Sli for my bro , the mod works using the same bridges .http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=2454&s=1

We are still talking about the same bridges that need to be modded, yes. But custompccases here poitns out that they not only epoxy the bridges that need to be modded, but additional bridges as well. My take is they do it to confuse people who want to do the mod - and apparently they are being succesful.

Bought a new ultra D the other day and the pads are now removed by Nvidia so now u can't sli your D Sad

Old topic revival but its getting close to having to mod my UltraD to SLI.

Realy want to try the extra 7900GTX I have sitting in the corner.

Looking on Ebay the DFI SLI's and Experts ell for what they did new almost so the mod it is. Mines a fairly early board so hopefully it could be a quick job.

As it all comes out of the case I think its a good time to order a new case. These old Chieftech Dragons are looking a tad old fashioned.
