Me bad. I was looking at a PDF manual for the 8KDA3.

You have an nForce2 board anyways .............

Wow, I missed you saying that ..............

DO NOT enable RAID in the BIOS.

DO leave "Sil 3112 Serial ATA" enabled. This will allow your NON-raided HD to be properly detected.

DO NOT list/select/use RAID as a boot device. You don't have 2 HD's in RAID.
ie: 1; Floppy, 2; CD, 3; HD
(If one of the above is not installed omit it and move to the next bootable device)


Doing/correcting all the above should get you back on track.

I'd stick to the 1.0.0.28 drivers for now. There are remixes out there but until you get comfortable with your new HW ................ stick with what you know works.
