Hey all. I'm still trying to get familiar with my raid setup, and I was just wondering if someone knew what the latest NVraid bios revision is? I am running a Biostar TForce4U board, NF4 ultra chipset. I believe the version I have is a 4.8x but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance!  |

| In case anyone is interested, the latest I could find was NVraid v. 5.50 (well, it's called mediashield ide rom). |

Last I remember.. The latest bios in my DFI is running 5.50. |

There is also a 5.60.
If I remember correctly it is in a gigabyte bios, but you can easily find using google and patch in your bios using cbrom

There's also 6.21 but that seems not to be suitable for nForce4 Boards.
EDIT: Even higher. 6.55 can be found in latest nForce5 BIOSes.

The 5.60, patched in my 0406 DFI Lanparty bios, works flawlessy in nforce4 SLI chipset

Which Gigabyte BIOS uses the 5.60 Version? I want to extract it and re-mod my BIOS which atm uses 5.50.
EDIT: I was impatient and searched for myself before giving you the chance to answer. BIOS F6 from GA-M55SLI-S4 uses Mediashield IDE ROM 5.60. I extracted it with Award BIOS Editor.
2ND EDIT: Updated my BIOS with cbrom215 and everything is fine. However I'm using nForce4 ultra and not nF4 SLI.

http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/Motherboard/BIOS_Model.aspx?ProductID=2373 has also some newer nvraid, anyone brave enough to test it?
"Change NVRAID.ROM to version 6.86" says changelog
ADD: I am testing it Installed my BIOS saviour so I'm confident now to test I'll report ASAP the results.

I extracted 6.86 from that Gigabyte bios I linked and cbrommed it to my DFI LanParty nf4 SLI-DR bios and flashed it in and it works as ever!
So what now?  I know it works, can't tell is it snappier or anything, but nevertheless it works! And is brand new if we believe that version number Gigabyte says
