The following should be clear to all:

So.. there you have it.. crystal clear.. anyone with doubts.. speak to me.. or maybe Mwarhead.. who writes the following:

Quoted from Mwarhead's Site:

1. Never use the logos of the company the drivers the product was made for. The logos should not be used on the site hosting the drivers or in the installer without the written consent of the Company who owns logo. It is generally ok to keep the logos in the control panels for the drivers as long as the control panels are kept intact.

2. The company name of the manufacture of the product or drivers should not be attached other then to give them credit for there intellectual property. This is why I have clearly labeled mine Mwarhead's Nforce Remix. It identifies what the drivers are for without them looking official.

3. Never leak drivers with out permission, only use drivers that have been publicly leaked. Most companies will ignore your drivers until you leak unreleased drivers. I have had several opportunities to do this, but I knew that doing so will cause a crack down. Leaking drivers could possibly cause the entire beta program to be dissolved. Remember it is their intellectual property, don't give them a reason to try and shut you down. Most companies will leave you alone as it would cost to much money to do something about it and could cause a PR disaster.

4. Do not increment the number of the drivers above the official driver version. This will make companies mad as people will think that yours are newer then the manufactures. Then some uninformed user will email the company asking them why don't they post them.

5. Do not use the name of another set of mixed matched drivers. Recently I have received a number of emails complaining about problems with my 3.14 remix. I did not release a 3.14 remix. Upon further investigation I found that another individual released a set of mixed/matched drivers also called Nforce Remix. All though I do not care if anyone uses the Nforce Remix name that I came up with. I would request that they place an identifier of some sort in front of the Nforce Remix name, like I do.

Legal issues regarding altered, modified, and repackaged drivers require nForcersHQ to keep a strict policy concerning publicizing and/or linking to non-approved files. If proof of licensure and approval by the companies whose drivers have been altered, modified, or repackaged can be provide then nForcersHQ will be more than glad to review the situation at that time.

Until then we ask that users refrain from directly linking to any altered, modified, or repackaged drivers.
