Can't log in? Failed account activation? Here's what to do..

When you register at the forum you should receive an automatic email which includes a link to activate your account.

If you don't receive an activation email it's generally due to one of the following reasons:
1) Incorrect email address was entered.
2) Your email inbox is full.
3) Your ISP's server is busy or experiencing problems.
4) Your ISP has blocked the email.

This usually results in the email activation being marked as 'undeliverable' and then 'bounced' back to nForcersHQ. Bounced activation emails are deleted from the server; there's no way to access the contents or resend the details back to you.

If you haven't received your activation email (usually within minutes of registration):
1) Check first that the email account you used is active and your inbox isn't full. If your inbox is full or your ISP is experiencing problems, the email will still try to deliver itself for any length of time before becoming 'undeliverable'.
2) Send an email to: forumadmin AT nforcershq.com and include the username and the email address you used for registration so your account can be activated manually.

If you're already a member, please do not try to change your username as your account will automatically deactivate and you'll find yourself locked out of the forum.

PS If you you send an email but don't give the necessary details to identify your account there's no way for it to be activated manually!

If you tried to register a forum account over the last few days (20-24th March) you may not have been sent the email due to an SMTP error. This email would have contained the link for you to activate your account.

I've manually activated as many of these accounts as possible but if your account hasn't been activated please email me the username you tried to register with so I can delete the failed account - including email address and username from the database so you can re-use them if you decide to - and you can recreate the account again.
