IDE-SATA adaptor

Postby matryx » Sun Mar 01, 2009 8:05 am

Hi, I recently found out I had an IDE-SATA adapter after opening my case to clean the dust in it. I have a Western Digital 60GB IDE hard and want to use the adapter since my NF7-s v2 has SATA. After trying to boot my computer just keep restarting a little after the bios screen appears. I'm seeing that blue screen before it reboots again though if that helps.

I'm using a Merlins D26 Taipan rev. 2.0.05 0.1 (SATA 4247) CPC OFF

Anyone know whats wrong? Is there a driver I'm supposed to install? Do I have to format and reinstall windows?
