Also, Valve hired the Narbacular Drop team to make Portal, same guys that made this highly unpopular game which includes the same concept just not very well done

http://www.nuclearmonkeysoftware.com...culardrop.html

so Half-life 2 360 includes...

Half-Life 2
Episode 1
Episode 2
Team Fortress
Portal

Pretty amazing value. (I will repost this in the 360 topic as well.)

The video for portals is pretty funny, it almost sounds good enough to be a standalone game :)

I once followed TF2's creation when the first announced it like, 6 years ago. Back then it had realistic and gritty graphics. But with that cartoony look now, I dunno...

Apparently the HL2:2 is being released simultaneously for:
Xbox 360
PS3
PC
A7N8X Deluxe (Rev. 1.04, BIOS 1007), Athlon XP 2800+, 1GB Kingmax Ram, 128MB 9600XT, 2 x Voodoo 2's (original SLI!!), NEC3500 DVD-RW, Maxtor Diamondmax 200 & 80GB SATA drives, Enermax NoiseTaker 420W PSU, CNPS7000-Cu

Well it's only been confirmed that the original HL2 will be on the disc for 360. AFAIK it's not going to be on the PC version.

Valve founder Gabe Newell dropped a number of bombshells regarding Half-Life 2: Episode Two at EA's summer press event. Newell revealed that the vaunted PC first-person shooter franchise is going to arrive on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and that the PC and console versions will ship with not only a new single-player game called Portals, but also with Team Fortress 2, the ambitious multiplayer game that Valve tried to develop in the late '90s but that quietly disappeared later on.

Greetings!

"Unbelievable," I was earnestly but dispassionately told by the in-game narrator in Valve's upcoming teleport-centric action puzzle game Portal, after solving one of its early challenges. "You, subject name here, must be the pride of subject hometown here.""

Greetings!

"Mark October 9, 2007 on your calendar, clear off your free time for the week or so thereafter, and stock up on Cheetos and Mountain Dew—or whatever it is you use to power through a marathon gaming session. The folks at Valve have confirmed a launch date for their triple-threat game bundle of Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2, and Portal."

"Any contact with the chamber floor will result in an unsatisfactory score," relays the monotone narrator in one room, "followed by death."
