I was working on an epox 8K7A and I had boot issues. the bios seemed corrupted so I tried the agent smith trick and it worked. I had a floppy in the drive and I hoped to be able to get to the alt+f2 option to get it to reflash and couldn't get that far. I pulled the video card and when I booted it accessed the floppy right away. I waited a while and nothing happened, no beep codes or anything so I shut it down, put the video card back in and it booted. So it worked or my video card wasn't seated or something like that.
