Hi, i m new to this forum, recently i just caught up in the weird problem. I bought a pair of a new ram which is corsair and is the same brand type as my previous old ram. I installed it and it work fine for me and the new ram was detected. But unfortunately, my cpu just automatically turn off after a few while my com boot into windows. After that i wont be able to turn it on. So i thought maybe it was because my power supply unit has been dead. But after i bought a new power supply unit, the same problem still occur. I still not able to turn on my cpu. No led, cpu fans not turning. Can anyone tell me what happening to my pc. Thanks.
My system specifications are as belows:
AMD Athlon 64 3000
gigabyte K8NS-Ultra s939
1.5gb ram
Ati radeon 9550 graphic card

to me it sounds like a Voltage issue, i came across this when my old Nforce 2 board wasnt being supplied enough voltage from the +12 connector on my PSU.

Try putting original ram back in and see if u get the same issue

What was wrong with the previous RAM ?

Can you monitor your computer's temperature up to the point it shuts down ?
