GA-M61P-S3 CPU Compatibility

I'm giving consideration to purchasing a GA-M61P-S3. I've been to the Gigabyte US website to check the CPU compatibility list and couldn't find the Athlon 64 3700+ anywhere on it. Does anyone know if the CPU and motherboard are compatible?

As a follow-up to this posting, I received feedback from Gigabyte's online support USA. I was told that the Athlon 64 3700+ was definitely not compatible the motherboard and that there was a limited list of Athlon 64s that could do the job, specifically because they were made to work in AM2 sockets.

I've already purchased the board and it appears to work fine, with 1 Gig of Corsair XMS2 DDRII 800 RAM and an Orleans 3200+.

Case closed.
