Hi all. I will soon be in receipt of a shiny new shuttle amongst other things and so I am getting rid of my current stuff. Besides the likely savings on delivery fees; I will discount the purchaser of the kit denoted in the first area. This is essentially my old PC. Of course, any questions I can answer with pictures or text; I will.. Sensible offers only please.
Updated on 26th Jan 2008 rather than make a new thread.
-----------
My old PC
AMD Athlon XP-Mobile 2500+. Barton core (512kb level 2). Runs at 2200mhz (equivalent to a 3200+) just fine. This is based on 200*11 with 1.6 vCore. May go further with sufficient attention and use of appropriate techniques (e.g. burning in). Will add stepping information ASAP.
Price: £10
Thermalright SLK900-A
Sold
Abit NF7S V2.0. This motherboard should need little introduction. Essentially the best over clocking platform for AthlonXP's (for pure speed as opposed to the DFI's reputation for extreme FSB's).
Price: £12 or will bundle with above CPU for £20 ono
Corsair CMX512-3200LL Pro. This is a DDR1 memory module featuring support for 2-3-2-6 timings (at stock voltage) and memory read/write activity indicating LED's on the top. In recognition of the awkwardness of it being a single module (given the need for two modules for dual channel...); I believe I have chosen a price which fairly reflects that.
Price: £12
CTK 550Watt PSU, 20A 12V.
Sold
Superflower Black and silver case. Comes with:
- a side intake 80mm blue led fan
- two 5.25" bay to 3.5" bay conversion adaptors for HDD's (the two supplied areas holes don’t properly align with hdds).
- a blue cold cathode is attached to the cases side panel (inverter included!).
Price for the lot: £12
Toshiba 16X DVD-ROM drive. Beige.
Sold
Arctic Cooling VGA Silencer V3
Sold
--------------
Three HDD's
1x Western Digital Caviar SE SATA HDD
Sold
1x Western Digital Caviar SE PATA HDD
Sold
1x Western Digital Caviar SE PATA HDD
Sold
2x Western Digital Secure Connect SATA Cables
Sold

Other components
MSI K8N Diamond Skt 939 Motherboard. A good over clocking platform for Opteron's and the like (BIOS updated to support them ).
Some pics:
Pic of the box
Accessories
SATA power adaptor
I bought this second hand from some one in January and I have not used it but I have full trust in the seller and no reason to believe there is anything wrong with it. There is one small bit of damage; there is a small piece of plastic missing from two of the SATA sockets. Here is a picture to illustrate. SATA ports
Some reviews of this motherboard:
- Xbit Labs
- Trustedreviews.co.uk
Included accessories:
- 1x Backplate panel with two firewire ports (one male, one female if that concept applies to firewire).
- 1x Metal plate for I/O panel (e.g. usb, ps2, lan, serial, parallel ect ports).
- 1x Two Serial ATA to Molex power adaptor.
- 1x SLI bridge
- 1x MSI “Diamond Club” membership card
- 1x rounded floppy disk cable
- 1x rounded hdd/optical device cable
- 4x SATA (data) cables
- MSI “Quick Users Guide”. (AKA big fat manual)
- MSI Test report (compatibility information)
- MSI “Diamond Club” leaflet
- MSI quick guide sheet. (Folds out to provide diagram of mobo with some useful configuration information).
Price: £25
Antec P160W Case Modded expertly (by wildcard) to include a perspex (transparent) window in the top of the case. Set within this, are two Akasa 120mm blue LED fans. I have several pictures of this, plus I can take more upon request. Here is a taster image:
Front, lit up
Should you wish to see more, post here or pm me your email address and I will email you a 1.69mb zip file with some more 1024*768 resolution photo’s. As I said, I can send other pictures, including at higher resolution if you wish.
There are a few bits of damage or alteration. On the right hand side panel, is a shallow scratch. Its only visible if the light catches it from a certain angle and its pretty small at that. Its roughly a shape like this:
|_
. |
And its about 3cm in size. (Ignore that dot, its not present on the case).
There is no other damage I am aware of. At the back of the case, two small holes had been drilled as the previous user suspended a reservoir here. On the top front display is the HDD activity light. Connector for this that goes on the motherboard was split by myself as on my motherboard, the pins for this to work are separated by a gap. The light still works fine despite the plastic casing for one half of the “plug” being discarded.
I am selling the whole case as a bare bones solution of a sort, in that you the purchaser; gets the following:
- The case with windowed side panel.
- Original, non-windowed side panel.
- 2x Akasa 120mm blue LED case fans.
- 2x Antec 120mm green LED case fans (mounted on rubber screw thingys).
- 2 blue 12" cold cathodes (one at top, one at bottom). + inverter of course.
- This Enermax fan controller that conveniently matches the lights; providing RPM and temperature read outs. NB. A link to the official Enermax website page on this product is... here.
All of this kit comes pre-installed ofc.
Price: £60
I am already running at a considerable loss on that.
Tagan TG-580-U15 Modular PSU
Sold
Payment into bank account is preferred, though I will accept cleared cheques. I don’t use paypal. Delivery is at the purchaser’s expense and I will not be adding my own cut to this!
Any questions on anything, post, private message, email (my hotmail) or will give out a landline telephone number on receipt of serious enquiries.

Edited. Made a price adjustment to reflect the vga cooler not being part of the main pc "deal".

are the fans integrated into that case or can they be removed?
also the 120mm exhaust fan - is it an actual fan or one of those exhaust unit thingies? [link to the case not working hence questions].
Is the price inc shipping and will you budge on it a little? |

Hi,
the fans can all be unscrewed. The rear 120mm fan isnt an exhaust unit. It can also be unscrewed and transplanted to any compatible system.
However I have kept all those items together as I would like to sell them as one ideally. I could split it though if you like. Call it £7 for the fans and ill pick up the cost of postage?
In case you would be interested in the case (and blue cold cathode); here are some pictures. The top one illustrates the colour scheme and actual front appearence. The bottom one shows the side of the same model but in a different colour scheme.
