IGP is NV17 GPU core, which is an AGP2.0 part (4X is the max rate it can report), however, although only at 4X, however, it's actually running at internally 100MHz instead of the usual 66Mhz AGP clock. So the performance is longer to be considered comparable with regular AGP 4X graphic. In addition, IGP does not suffer any additional latencies for accessing Frame Buffer versus non local video memory
The IGP AGP 8X mode stands for the equivalent 8X performance, not the capability.

LOL!
I just got my board from freecycle, and this is what it is!
NOW I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS!!! Every time I boot up it flashes "engineering version". LOL!
I haven't noticed any problems OTHER than the IDE inputs on the board are reversed. LOL...
