Foxconn 590 SLI AM2 + XFX 6800XT SLI Problem

I have a Foxconn 590 SLI AM2 board, as well as 2 XFX 6800XT 512's. Whenever I attempt to put the second card in the system becomes unstable and will periodically do a memory dump. After running memory tests and some other things, a memory issue was quickly eliminated.

1 Card by itself will run completely stable with no problems. I am new to SLI and this is the first time I am attempting to run a system in SLI. Both cards have the same bios and firmware.

Now from what I understand about this, my motherboard is equipped with the LinkBoost technology, and I have heard that LinkBoost will only work with 7900's and up. Could this be what is causing the problem? I wouldn't think so because any identical SLI configuration should be compatible. I'm just all out of ideas and can't think of anything else.

I FIGURED IT OUT!

I was sitting here brainstorming, and decided to try an outdated forceware driver, 81.26 to be exact. The system is fully stable. I wonder why the newer forceware causes unstability in my system? :/
