New pen.

My upgrades will be finalised in the next couple of days. Its showing I currently have 21 active processors however I dare say that has a lot to do with the fact that I have recently added a couple of dual cores to the farm.

I'm not sure what this means but I've been at 666 in the ranking for a couple of days. I hope this isn't bad. I don't feel any different.

Hopefully Cristians for a Cure don't strike us down just because Satan is on our team. :P

Finally got together another folding rig.( actually its the first time I've bought a system for the sole purpose of folding - hope it doesn't become a habit $$$$) Decided to go with with a core 2 E6300 system as they are about $50 cheaper than an X2 4200 processor here. All the bits are on the floor now, so should hopefully have it all running by tomorrow.

Hopefully this system should fold well - can anyone point me at a cpu folding comparison/database perhaps ?

UPDATE: Well looks like it won't be running till next week sometime now as the gimp at the shop has given me the wrong motherboard.

No longer 666, thank god thats over. I only hope I don't end up back at that number again. I guess so long as my points production remains close to static then I'll be OK.

Thems the breaks Slapnut, thems the breaks. A couple more days till completion is gonna be that much of an issue. I'll just pretend I heard the word Intel
