SMP beta.
UAC was my problem, I uprooted my system before I thought of it, though.
It was a fresh install just a few hours old.....

On a positive note, I think I've solved 2 problems with one solution!!!!!!!
I love it when I do that.
I changed my drives to a enterprise barracuda ES RAID5 array, and it was LOUD LOUD, and with the constant accessing, I had to come up with a way to stop the constant accessing, drive heating, and get rid of the noises.
I already had a solution laying around and just figured it out now.
I had a gigabyte I-ram and 4 gigs of DDR laying around because it wouldn't cooperate under XP.
So, I installed the I-ram, enabled readyboost, and all my problems went away.
The new vista diskcaching software combined with a SSD saves my drives, my sanity, and still lets me fold. Problems solved!
Man, I gotta tell ya, it's ghostly quiet in here without those drives banging away.

Also, F@H will now test if the corruption I was having under XP will follow me to vista64. Life is good.
For my next trick, I gotta put all the loud drives in the box with readyboost, and use the A-series quiet drives and the 10k raptors in my other systems.
I guess I gotta rebuiild all my arrays AGAIN. (Grumble, grumble.)

Yes agreed congrats to verdeva...! :beerscheers:

Hopefully I won't be too far behind myself, though my production has been a bit erratic recently as I've been moving stuff around and given some computers away...

I'm sure Slapnut will be at the million soon enough... :sweet:

I just fired up my rigs. Together, they may push out 1K-1.5K daily... Only time will tell.

More rigs for the fold...
my dvr rig uses up 50% of the C2D in it for recording and the rest folds
another C2D folding 100%, three A64s, and a couple of celerys.

keeps the basement warm

I have three more A64s and another C2D on the way, just can't seem to find enough time to set em up.
