You know I got curious the other night to find out what member number I was. So I went searching manually through the member list until I found me, 6964. Only about year after the forums went up and we had 7000 members. But I also noticed that most of those first 7000 are not active. They haven't shown any activity since around the time they registered. That got me thinking; what if just a quarter of them were folding? Thats just the members up to April 2003. How many do we have now? What if just 10% were folding? We would easily be in the top 100 maybe higher. Just a thought. Is there a way to weed out the active/non-active members? Maybe encourage folding by giving maybe "Karma" points under our names? Something? How about a tshirt to everyone who gets a 100k, a mug to 200k, and so on? I know most of us just do it for a very good reason whether it be justifying our electrical use, friends/family who died/are sick from the very things we are folding for, to just be better at everything we do, or whatever. Again these are just thoughts I had. I really want our group to be the best out there. Maybe not realistic but "I have a dream".
