Got a second machine sitting there with a NF7-S Rev 2.0 // Barton 2500+ @ 3400+, 2gb ram, etc and want to get it somewhat upgrade.

I got in there an ATI x800 pro overclocked. I know this is a Nvidia board, but which is the fastest AGP video card available from Nvidia and ATI.

Not sure if its a good idea investing in old tech.
Will the PSU handle a new card?

I think the best one currently is the HD3850.

Anything above low-midrange is going to be pretty CPU bound so dont go crazy.

It should look a bit nicer though.

However, if you do go crazy you may then want more then you'll have to upgrade from top to bottom and then you'll have a AGP card thats no use other then to sell on.

Maybe save up a bit and then do the lot?
