Hello, just tried dual channel memory config (2 * 512). I've been running it
in single channel mode for a while, using same single sided ram sticks.
Problem is in dual channel mode, memory speed is 333MHz, down from 400MHz
in single channel mode.
I had thought that since both pc3200 memory sticks were single sided, it would have
maintained 400MHz in dual channel mode also.
How dows it work?
Dave
PS I'm editing this to say that I got it work. According to cpu-z I had my memory
in slots 3&4. As I mention above, it was sort of working, but not quite.
As soon as I re-positioned the memory to slots 1&2, the problem was
resolved.
