It's supposed to be 3100 down and 350 up.
$20 CAN
But theres a download and upload limit, 15GB down and 5GB up. |

Think I'm just over 1000 down and forget the up...I'll get results later. No competition over here so I guess they haven't bothered upscaling our speeds  . The good thing is there is no real limit on how much I can up/download.
Cost is $25 for me, but regular is close to $40.
EDIT: These are Canadian prices of course. |

I don't have DSL anymore. I have had Road Runner, cable, unlimited high speed, for $44 US and I will never go back to dial-up or DSL. The speed is unbeliveably fast. Most web sites are there when you click on them. (Even this one  about 99% of the time.) But if the site you connect to has problem things are slow. I mean its normally as fast as the screen can change. More than once I have blinked or not paid close attention, and completely missed the page changing, and click on the link etc again wondering why the page didn't change.
My normal download speed is about 408,875 char/sec. The increase in speed from DSL was noticeable when I got regular cable, and the speed has doubled since the early cable days. Plus I am the last connection at the end of the cable, and I never have slow downs.
Things are so fast that I can run a newsreader program downloading newsgroups, IE D/L'ing MP3's etc, and surf the web in another window, with no noticable loss of speed. Oh and you don't even notice when OE check the mail. |
