DFI LanParty UT NF3 250GB - No sound from RIGHT speakers

Hi,

I have a problem and I'm hoping someone out there could help me.

First of all the hardware. I'm running a DFI LanParty UT NF3 250GB motherboard and I've attached some speaker from the missus old Dell to it as this is no longer being used. The speakers I've attached are Altec Lansing subwoofer that has 4 satellite speakers connected to the back of it and then a jack coming from that connected to the green socket on the back of my mobo.

Now the problem. I get sound from the subwoofer, front left and rear left speakers but I get nothing from the front right or rear right speakers.

I've had a play around with the NV mixer settings but still nothing. If I move the balance slider from left to right I loose all sound.

Has anyone else experienced this problem.

One more question does anyone know where I could possibly get backing plate for this mobo (the metal plate that goes around the USB, VGA, Sound connections?)
