Hey, I recently bought a logitech x530 5.1 surround sound system. When I set everything up all the speakers worked except the center one. I tried everything to make them work, updated drivers checked connections, and nothing helped. What can I do?
BTW: they are anolog |

And I have the Nforce 4 Board, with the Advanced and firewall pages unlocked, and have audio driver version 4.62, mixer version 1.0 (Build 451) Codec ALC850. Codec Capabilities are: Single AC'97, 8 channels.
Does this help, i dont know much, and its kind of making me mad. . . .
Winamp worked 5.1 for a while, but then all of a sudden, I had no center sound, and the rear speakers are really quiet.
My Motherboard is a Foxconn/Winfast NF4UK8AA-8EKRS
If that is any more help.

What are your respective motherboards?
What are you trying to listen to using 5.1channel?
Ac97 8ch on the nforce 4 boards will only produce 5.1channels of sound if the source that your listening too is encoded in 5.1channel sound for example a DVD providing u have the program setup to SPDIF out passthru.
Ac97 only encodes in stereo with emulated surround sound from games that are encoded with it. |

| This is a known problem, that as of yet NVIDIA haven't solved. You may want to try many of the available plugin's for winamp which allow 5.1 upmixing. There is no solution available for WMP however. Also if you are having problems using DVD's try using PowerDVD or WinDVD, and make sure the speaker settings are correct. |

| That does not work on driver version 4.62 and nvmixer v1.0 (451), however, it does create problem when adjusting volume, the sound jumps in and out. |
