Im getting the Asus M3A, but im currently using the Tt Silent Boost K8, socket 939. Not sure if socket on the M3A will accept it or not, it looks like from what ive seen, that socket 939, 754, Operton and AM2 are pretty much compatible. I know the 4 pin connector on the mobo is backward compatible. So, do i need a new cooler or can i stick with the K8 cooler.  |

you may have a prob if you've binned all the alternative adapters for each socket shape.
no experience with that exact cooler, so can't offer any more advice... have a look at the cooler's website and see, if it says "yes", then jsut pray you haven't binned the adapter... |
