hi guys... i have problem regarding bios...
i load the "Load Fail-Safe Default" after i save and exit... it black-out... i wait for an hour and still no display... how will i go to bios again so i can load the "Load Optimized Default"...

Greetings!
Tried clearing BIOS?
Shutdown computer, look for CMOS jumper on the MB, take it out for some minutes, put it back and try again. |

got prob this time  ... all my games are not running even my system restore
i uninstall one of my game and re install it, still not running... then it will hang my system...

it started a while ago after i clear my bios... first i checked some of my applications and it runs correctly... when i tried my games the system starts to hang... i waited for a couple of minutes to see what will happen... and nothing the HD led is not blinking... even my system restor and secuirity (at control pannel) is not working just like when i open my games... the system will hang when i open games and those applications (system restore and security)
should i reformat my computer?
is there any system file were affected or destroyed when i chose the faile-safe default?
pentium 4 3.0 Ghz
512 MB DDRAM
GeForve Fx5200 128 MB
40 gig. Hrd Disk
Mother Board: Epox (i bought my computer last year September) almost one year
OS: Wndows XP sp2 pro...

Whats the exact model of the motherboard? Should be printed on the PCB.

So, the system was perfectly stable prior to the "Load Fail Safe"? The BIOS setting shouldnt have an effect on the files. Unless you were using an unstable configuration.
Are you up to date in drivers? Chipset, sound, video, etc? |

what do you mean unstable configuration? like?
i dont have any sound cards
chipset?... how do i update my chipset?
but my Geforce driver is updated though it didnt pass the windows logo... and i press the button "continue anyway" it's an openGL driver for Geforce fx 5200 |
