The driver itself (that's always the SYS file) isn't modified at all, I just have customized the associated INF file (contains the installation informations) to make this driver usable with all NF4-7 chipsets..
I do not use RAID. There will be higher performance with this Performance Pack?
The included v9.99.09 IDE drivers probably have the best performance of all currently available nForce S-ATA drivers. You may try the "Performance Pack".

Welcome at nForcersHQ Forum!

You forgot to write, which OS (XP or XP x64) you are running or going to install.
For Windows XP you can either take my "Actual NF4-7 Driverpack for Windows XP v4.0" or the 32bit version of my "NF4-7 Performance Pack v3.0", which contains the customized nForce IDE drivers v9.99.09.
I would recommend the latter one, if you want more performance. Here is the download link:

@ all users of my XP (32/64bit) nForce driverpacks:

When NVIDIA has released their brandnew nForce chipset driverpacks 15.23/15.24, I thought, that there will be no need anymore for my alternative driverpacks, but obviously a lot of users are unsatisfied with NVIDIA's second start-up to present new "Unified" NF4-7 driversets.

As a consequence I decided to do a last update of my driverpacks before I am leaving my home and this forum for a longer period.

Changelog:
- updated: SMBus and SMU drivers (except NF4-5 non-AHCI Driverpacks)
- updated: HDAudio driver
- replaced: 32bit version of the "NF4-7 Performance Pack"
- enhanced compatibility: "NF4-7 Performance Packs"

I hope, that you will find a package, which is suitable for your configuration, that you succeed with the installation and that you will enjoy the stability and performance of your system after having updated your previously running nForce drivers.

If not, please let me know it as soon as possible, because I will only be able to support this thread until the end of this week.

Good luck with my updated XP driverpacks!

Greetings from
Fernando

Thanks for your feedback.
Which driverpack did you install at least?

Fine, that you succeeded with the installation of my "NF4-7 Performance Pack" and that you are satisfied.

@ all users of my XP driverpacks:

My last update of the XP driverpacks has been done in a hurry and I was a little bit anxious, that I would have mixed something up (like NVIDIA did with their 15.17/15.18 driversets).
Since I haven't yet gotten any feedback from you, I suspect, that everything is fine with my new packages.

Nevertheless I would like to animate you once more to report here about your experience with my driver remixes.
Especially a positive feedback is always much appreciated!

Fernando
