I have had my current rig for quite some time now. Recently i got a Mitsumi smart card reader for the floppy drive slot. Install was fairly straightforward, and i got the floppy up and working in about 60 seconds. The card readers however don't function. I'm sure they're hooked up correctly (i checked the pinout in the manual). So naturally i assumed the drive might be bad and i hooked up the external USB/Firewire box(sat in the closet for 4 years) that comes with the mobo. Well, the USBs on that don;t work either so i'm wodering if my internal USB headers somehow went bad?? I have never used them until now and it just seems kinda odd. Just wanted to get the opinion of you guys.

btw, the uber BIOS are great.

Did you enable them in your BIOS setup screens?

do you have to enable them? The only thing i found pertaining to usb support was one that let you switch between 1.1, 2.0, or off. I was under the impression that they are just ON if all the others are on.

okay, i tested the VCC coming out of the headers and theyre only getting 3.1v instead of 5v. My PS is okay, it puts out sufficent power for everything else, any ideas why these aren't getting enough???
