Hi all

My first time here (bit of a tech dunce btw) so top of the morning to ye all

Asus A7N8X rev 1.04 bios 1008??? XP2600

I have been able to flash to 1009 from 1001.E as I have been unable to run some new ocz PC3200 on my system

The flash went fine except bios now says rev 1008 and I don’t know where that came from as I download the 1009 file from the main board and the file says 1009.

Trouble is now my XP2600 is reading as only 1240Mhz on boot and that’s with fsb 166 and memory 200Mhz

Any ideas

Seems I must have had a corrupt bios reading/string as the Asus software disc said 1009 as well.

I am now running 1008 Duel Channel and having all sorts of problems as I have posted in another thread.
