Hi, I have been reading through a past forum topic and have been trying to put together a solution to my problem. So, here is my question.
I have an EPoX 8RDA6+ Pro MB, with a 3000mhz AMD CPU. I am currently having more problems than I care to deal with. I cannot run multiple programs without having so much lag I want to cry, and am also getting sound skipping. What is the deal, it doesn't matter what I do, the problem doesn't go away. I have reformatted, tried a different harddrive, bought new memory, I now have 2 kingston 1 gig paired sticks, 2 gig in total. And still get nothing but trouble. My CPU processes are almost always maxed, whether Im running MSN and a browser, or WoW and a browser. My biggest issue right now, is the sound skipping, Ive read up and see everyone saying APIC helped them, but I cannot find a setting in the bios on my Motherboard that will help me to Enable or Disable it.
I barely use my desktop, as it frustrates me when I do. What's the point if I can't play a game without it wanting to dive on me. Any information and help would be greatly appreciated. |
