6100-M9 wrongly detects my sataII drive as a sata1.
I have a Hitachi SATA II HD model 7K80.

also within devivce manager I cant activate sata command queing.

Bios also shows sata1 as the only option.


so....whats my problem.

anyone who answers gets to be my friend ! Very Happy

Do you have the latest Nvidia chipset drivers?

Are you using the Microsoft of Nvidia based drivers for the SATA controller?

sorry about the cross refference .

I was searching the forum for relevant threads and found a discussion that fitted my problem after I started this thread.

The beef of my issue now is that the problem is fixed !!!!

The biostar nforce board is A1 !!!!! It was a drive config issue all the time. Feel free to delete this thread or even rename it to biostar 6100-m9 nforce is brilliant.
