EPOX - EPoX 8KDA3+ nForce3 250Gb Motherboard Review

August 9th 2004 | Hardware

While waiting for the new socket to come we have the socket 775 motherboard here for testing. This time Epox sent us their 8kda3+ board for testing. If we look at the features very quickly the board seems to have alot to offer so this will be a interesting review to see if it can perform as well as suspected.

…This is a very nice board that overclocks very well! It has the features that you need and it’s a very fast board also even at stock speeds. I like the accessories as rounded cables, screwdriver, etc even though I am missing a rounded floppy cable to match the rest. The board worked very stable even when we overclocked we had no problems with having to clear the cmos etc. This is seriously a board you should look at if you are in the market for a new motherboad since price-wise this is a very nice choice! I found a price of 130$ here in Sweden so in America I bet it’s even cheaper at newegg for example. We give this board our recommendations and 5 out of 5 for a good board that offers several important features and very good overclocking for a very cheap price.

Pros:
+ Overclocks very well
+ Good accessories
+ Stable
+ Well packed
+ Fast even at stock speeds
Cons:
- No rounded floppy cable included
