EPoX EP-8NPA SLI Review

November 30th 2005 | nForce4

By transporting NVIDIA’s increasingly popular SLI technology over to socket 754, Epox has done something that no other manufacturer has managed thus far. The [Epox EP-8NPA SLI] is well-implemented and generally stable, despite the consistent failures in our stress test at the 21 hour mark.

The featureset that this board has is pretty good, as are the BIOS options made available for overclockers and it leaves plenty of upgrade options in readiness for making the step to Socket 939, or the next AMD socket that will have support for DDR2. There is no doubt that the Socket 754 platform has its limitations, but Epox has done a good job of removing as many of them as possible with the EP-8NPA SLI.
