NF4 SLI chipset seems to be the most well accepted chipset of choice for most AMD users. A few months back, Nvidia announced that they will also make available a version of the highly acclaimed chipset to support SLI on the Intel Socket 775 platforms. EPoX 5NVA+ SLI is one of such boards that is built based on the NVIDIA nForce4 SLi Intel Edition chipset NVIDIA nForce4 SLi Intel Edition (C19) + MCP04..
..Overall, the board runs pretty well and EPoX’s packaging has made this board very appealing. The only disappointment is probably NVidia’s 820D support which could be the cause of the SLI problem. In fact, this is not only on EPoX’s but on all brands. It is just that the chipset does not support it. Lets hope NVIDIA can get this resolved as soon as possible.
