ECS unveils its first Intel motherboard supporting SLI technology
Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) today unveiled the C19-A SLI, the first ECS motherboard leveraging SLI technology for the Intel platform based on the NVIDIA nForce4 SLI XE chipset.
With the C19-A SLI, Intel enthusiasts can experience NVIDIA SLI technology, which was previously available exclusively for the AMD platform. Better still, the C19-A SLI makes SLI affordable by delivering a full range of high-end features at the price of a mainstream motherboard.
The C19-A SLI features ECS’ unique S.D.G.E. (Scalable Dual Graphic Engines) architecture, allowing two graphics cards to be connected and operate in tandem on one motherboard, delivering stunning 3D graphic performance on up to four monitors. Support for NVIDIA SLI opens the door to earth-shattering graphics performance which will be welcomed by PC gamers and technology enthusiasts devoted to the world’s most popular processing platform.
The C19-A SLI features the latest technologies that deliver top system performance with superb upgrade flexibility. It features support for Intel Pentium processor Extreme Edition; dual DDR2 667 memory up to 16GB; two PCI-E x16 for NVIDIA SLI; four SATA II slots supporting RAID 0, 1, 0+1, 5; Giga LAN; FSB 1066; and eight channel high definition audio.
The motherboard is designed with four-phase PWM, which ensures a stable power supply for CPU processing. The C19-A SLI delivers unrivalled PC security, storage and overclocking technologies, including ActiveArmor, an instant-on protection; MediaShield, a powerful and easy to use storage system; and nTune for enhanced overall system performance through a friendly overclocking utility.
Availability: The C19-A SLI will be available mid February. RRP £55 ex vat.
