DFI nForce4 SLI Motherboard In Action ++ Pics

January 10th 2005 | nForce4

We managed to see DFI system water-cooled of course since this is the cool thing to do these days with two 6800 graphic card and with some cool Corsair memory. DFI is using small a interconnection PCB, unlike what other sites were claiming, so DFI boards actually works just like any other SLI boards, with one exception. DFI makes its board highly overclockable and we saw some very high overclocked rates using the FX55 CPU. If I remember correctly, the FSB was running at some extreme speeds more than 350MHz if I remember correctly.

We have two pictures of the system and two different DFI SLI motherboards, but the only difference that we saw was number of S-ATA ports as one board has four while other as eight. The good news is that DFI is ready to send the boards to press first and it might get to market very soon- we believe by the end of the month. But we will let you know about specifics when we get them.
