DFI - DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra 400 Revision B Review

December 5th 2003 | Hardware

Pricey but feature packed and bundled with a plethora of accessories, DFI’s revision B of its LANParty NFII motherboard leaves Benoît Leterme gushing with superlatives:

The moment has finally arrived, the DFI Lanparty NFII Ultra 400 Revision B is amongst us. Many AMD enthusiasts all over the world have eagerly been waiting for this board to become available. I can easily say this board is the board everybody has been waiting for that’s not willing to take the step to 64-bit computing. And why would you already take the step to 64-bit computing, AMD is still keeping prices high and since it will still take a while until software takes full use of it, I’m sure a lot of people won’t mind sticking with 32-bit for a while.

. . . When going through the bundle of this package, all I can say is Waow. The board has every feature you could ask for, SATA RAID, USB2.0, Firewire, Dual LAN with one Gigabit Connection, SPDIF, 5 Audio Connections, UV-reactive parts and cables, … The board layout is near perfect and the addition of the socket mounting holes makes it all a dream come true.
