Dell Adds PayPal as Payment Option on Dell.com

Dell now accepts PayPal payments from U.S. consumer and small business customers, adding to the company’s many forms of payment options in advance of "Black Friday," the traditional start of the holiday shopping season.

Tens of millions of online shoppers looking for notebook computers, televisions or music players can pay for Dell purchases with their PayPal accounts – using credit cards, bank accounts or stored account balances.

There are more than 86.6 million PayPal accounts, with users transacting more than $6.7 billion in the third quarter of this year. "Given the popularity of PayPal, we expect the new payment option to be a hit with current customers and serve as a tool to attract new shoppers to Dell.com," West added.
