It was a bit of a surprise then when I managed to get my hands on Creative’s Gigaworks T20 speakers and found that not only were they the best speakers I’d ever had a chance to use, but that they were affordable too.
I’ll have to admit that the T20s baffled me a little at first and as I pinched them off a nearby desk where they had been set up I spent a while looking about on the floor for the subwoofer to accompany them. It’s generally accepted that the 2.1 speaker setup is the standard for most gamers you see, which is why I spent a while rummaging around in what can only be described as the forest of wires between the desks of our writers. To my surprise though the T20s aren’t 2.1, but are actually 2.0 speakers.
..These are by far some of the best speakers we’ve had a chance to test and not only do they perform well, but they don’t cost half the earth either. If you’re looking for a sleek new set of speakers to go with your rig, then the Gigaworks T20 2.0 speakers should definitely be at the top of your list, especially if cost is an issue. 10/10 - Excellence Award
