The Fatal1ty 1010 mouse from Creative is an interesting contrast to the Logitech G5 Laser mouse I reviewed a month ago. The first thing is the size of the mouse being much smaller than the G5. After a short adjustment period the mouse worked just as well in heft to the G5. The weight modules are more configurable on the G5 meaning that you have more choice which is always better than limited choice.
The important thing about a mouse targeted to the gamer is the usage in games that require quick reaction times like CounterStrike Source or other FPS. Here the Fatal1ty 1010 excels as the highest setting 1600 CPI is completely comfortable in the games and everyday use.
