Corsair To Announce PC3700 Modules

June 17th 2003 | Memory

Memory manufacturer Corsair is set to release new PC3700 (DDR466) modules and TwinX PC3700 memory kits with an official announcement expected to be made tomorrow.

  • CMX256A-3700 (3-4-4-8)
  • CMX512-3700 (3-4-4-8)
  • TWINX512-3700 (3-4-4-8)
  • TWINX1024-3700(3-4-4-8)

Note: these will be CL3 only.

These new modules are “primarily aimed at Canterwood chipsets, but will also work on nForce2. The reason for them being aimed at the Canterwood chipset is that they are designed for max bandwith while nForce2 gains most of maximum speed (lowest latency)”. Thanks go to P for the details!
