Corsair Secure Digital 133x Review

January 30th 2006 | Storage

When it came to the performance of the 512MB Secure Digital 133x cartridge, Corsair had won in the timed disk reads testing, even beyond the 150x part, but when it came to transferring the single hefty file, it had fallen short of the SanDisk and ATP. However, it is important to note that the ATP was rated for 150x speeds while the Corsair had a 133x label.

Not only does the Corsair Secure Digital series offer the pricing advantage, and is also priced quite respectably against alternative similar capacity products, but it comes with the Corsair manufacturing we have become to know and love along with a lifetime warranty. Presently the Corsair Secure Digital 133x is available in 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB capacities while likely in the near future they will delve into even larger capacities.
