Corsair Flash Voyager GT 8GB Review

May 24th 2007 | Storage

The Corsair Flash Voyager GT is most certainly a very good, high quality flash drive. It is fast enough to compete with many small mechanical drives and also extremely durable, to the point that it is highly unlikely to be damaged even by careless use – to test this to the extremes, we threw the drive out of a 3rd storey window onto a concrete road and the drive was undamaged. Corsair used the rubber design to create most of their Voyager drives throughout the years and they had the time to work on it, to hone it and make it better with each revision. The latest incarnation is not surprisingly, their best.

For casual use, this unit is perhaps overkill, however if you need a large storage device which you know is going to give the maximum performance as well as being virtually indestructible then we can see no other alternative. We believe that the Corsair Flash Voyager GT 8GB drive is worthy of our DriverHeaven Editor’s Choice Award.
