Chrome, Silver Xbox 360 Pictures, MTV Teaser Trailer

The latest Xbox 360 pictures originating from Microsoft’s OurColony.net have been posted at TeamXbox. One photo is a close-up external shot of a chrome/silver case with a grille, button and what could be a handle, a removable HDD slot or maybe even a retractable coffee cup holder. Previous reports indicated the Xbox 360 would be ‘platinum white’.

"The picture, which is taken from an odd angle, still brings up many questions. This could be a removable hard drive and the button on the top could be the cover for the dock in which a removable HDD would plug into. Perhaps the silver part is a handle that can be lifted out for easy carrying. There have been rumors that the Xbox 360 can stand up vertically, so this could be a picture of the console when placed vertically. " says TeamXbox.

Gaming website Spong says it has had the image verified by "publishing sources privy to the final design" as being genuine: "This isn’t a red herring, it is a close-up of the final 360 design."

MTV has released a trailer for its sneak-peek Xbox 360 ad to be aired on March 12. The trailer can be found [ here ] - but it’s a teaser, so don’t expect to see any hardware.
