Chaintech GeForce FX5700 Ultra Apogee AA5700U card is best recommended for consumers who want a great looking card with a nice bundle and reasonably good graphics performance. Chaintech Apogee AA5700U is a certainly a nice looking card as it comes with a dark brown PCB and a golden cooler with 2 LED fans. The card has the usual outputs like DVI, VGA and TV out and the package comes with a good set of bundle such as S-Video, Composite, S to AV, DVI-I to VGA Adapter, Commando 3 game and a cute looking Q Ball for monitor cleaning. The price of the card in retail is a little over US$200 therefore it is not a cheap mid range card to own but this card is targeted at the upper mid range segment.

The performance of the Chaintech Apogee AA5700U card is definitely good when compared to the FX 5600 Ultra and is a worthy competitor against the Radeon 9600 series. Its advantages lie in its DDR-II memory and improved pixel and vertex shaders. The overclockability of Apogee AA5700U card with the help of a copper cooler with dual fans and faster 1.8ns DDR-II memories allows the core and memory can be pushed to a much higher speed of 600/1050Mhz over its default speed of 475/900Mhz. As such, the performance of the card can be further improved as much as 15-20%. No doubt, Chaintech Apogee AA5700U can be considered one of the most overclockable FX5700 Ultra cards around.
