CHAINTECH – Chaintech VNF3-250 nForce 3 250 Motherboard Review

Considering this board goes for as little as $72 on the last Newegg.com check, I could certainly recommend this board to any HTPC user looking for a cheap board with decent performance and features. It’s passive cooling of the chipset keeps unwanted noise out from your HTPC and the inclusion of a coaxial SPDIF port is great for any HTPC.

Pros:
Low Cost
Good Performance
Passive chipset cooling
Cons:
No Cool n’ Quiet (but then again many boards lately don’t work with Cool n’ Quiet)
