CASE4U Mona Designer Mid-Tower Case Review

March 22nd 2004 | Cases & Acc.

The Mona case from Case 4u is the lazy modder’s dream: It requires no hard work to improve its appearance and can have lights and fans added without drilling or cutting to put in a window or fan opening. While the case requires nothing extra to make it look great, there is room for additions which makes the case a viable option for advanced modders as well. I enjoy the case thoroughly as I am one of those people who want to do nothing to the case but still have an impressive looking computer. The case looks great without any modifications at all but with a few small ones here and there, it could compete with the coolest and most tricked out computers at any LAN party (I said compete, not win; some modders go all out!).

…The sliding front panel saves people from the pain of having to spray paint their drives so that the case looks good. The colors match and go well together, and the sliding panel does give you something unique and functional to show off to you friends.

If you are in the market for a case, have a low budget but big expectations, do yourself a favor and pick up the Case 4u Mona model. You cannot do much better without spending over $150, and even then it’s questionable!

-Front panel slides up to reveal drives
-Included on the front of the case is USB, Bluetooth, audio in and out.
-Weighs 6 kilos (fairly light case because of plastic)
-Very detailed, intricate and eye catching designs
