BT Livetime, a joint venture between BT and UBC Media, will be launched as a pilot with Virgin Mobile. The service will allow mobile phone customers to listen to 50 digital radio stations and download tracks for a small fee. Other services will include music videos and live TV news and sports coverage, for which BT has already signed deals with Sky News and Sky Sports News.
