BIOSTAR - BIOSTAR M7NCG nForce2 IGP mATX Preview Pics

BIOSTAR sent along a sample version of their new nForce2 microATX motherboard - the M7NCG.

Based on NVIDIA’s nForce2 IGP and MCP-T, the M7NCG comes with integrated GeForce4 MX graphics and Dolby® digital 5.1-channel audio with SPDIF Out. Other features include FireWire (IEEE 1394), up to 3GB dual-channel DDR400 support (DDR333 only if using onboard vga), LAN connectivity plus an AGP3.0 8x interface for an external graphics card.

This sample (ver. 1.1) uses the Realtek ALC650 6-Channel AC’97 CODEC for audio, so no SPDIF support. But the retail version will include an SPDIF Out and offer fully functioning NVIDIA nForce audio with Dolby® digital 5.1-channel sound via the MCP-T.
