BFG GeForce 6600GT OC PCI-E Review

September 12th 2005 | Graphics Cards

For the price you couldn’t find a better performing card, for this deal is one to jump on. Aside from having great performance and stability, the BFG 6600GT is also prepared for future games with technology like shadermodel 3.0, High Dynamic Range (HDR) lighting and SLI performance capabilities. The BFG 6600GT has a decent advantage over stock 6600GT’s with it’s pre-overclocked GPU and memory, but for those who want more the 6600GT will stay stable up to speeds of 590/1021.

When comparing the 6600GT to the X700Pro the benchmarks tell us that it’s no contest, the 6600GT takes the crown in all situations therefore the extra bit of cash you’d spend on the 6600GT opposed to the X700Pro would be whole heartedly worth it.
